In celebration of the City of Toronto’s 100th public library, Context has developed the innovative and iconic Library District Condos. The architecture was inspired by its neighbour, Fort York, and the abstraction of books lining a shelf. The coloured glass facing Library District references the abundant surrounding green space. The lobby of the Library District Condo is its signature amenity, a tour de force of contemporary design. Along one wall are shelves stacked with books of every kind; a modern interpretation of the world’s greatest libraries. Standing 29 stories high, Library District also has numerous features dedicated to environmental responsibility.
